TERMS OF SERVICE — WagSafe®

1. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of WagSafe® (“the App”).
By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

WagSafe Ltd is registered with the ICO (No. ZB937703).

2. The Service

WagSafe provides:

• real-time hazard alerts

• hazard reporting

• dog profiles

• community posts

• a 7-day free trial + optional subscription

UGC may not always be accurate or up-to-date.

3. Eligibility

You must be 16+ to use WagSafe.

4. User Accounts

You must:

• provide accurate information

• keep login secure

• not share your account

 Accounts may be suspended for breaches.

5. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

5.1 Free Trial

A 7-day free trial begins immediately when activated.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

5.3 Billing

Handled exclusively by:

• Apple App Store

• Google Play Store

 WagSafe does not process payments directly.

 5.4 Cancellation

Cancel in:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

• Android: Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions

5.5 Cooling-Off Period

By starting the trial and accessing content immediately, you agree to waive the statutory 14-day cooling-off period. 

5.6 Refunds

Refunds are handled solely by Apple/Google.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC)

You retain ownership but grant WagSafe a:

non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence

to use, display, store, modify, and distribute your content within the App.

UGC must not be harmful, misleading, unlawful or infringing.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

We may:

• Remove harmful or false hazards

• Delete abusive content

• Suspend accounts

• Involve authorities if necessary

Users may appeal moderation decisions.

8. App Licence

A personal, non-transferable, revocable licence is granted.

Prohibited:

• Reverse engineering

• Scraping

• Data copying

• Misuse of location features

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, trademarks and content belong to WagSafe Ltd.

10. Liability

Nothing limits liability for negligence causing death/personal injury. We are not liable for:

• Inaccurate UGC

• Reliance on hazard data

• Device-related data loss

• Outages/downtime

11. Termination

Accounts may be terminated for:

• Violations

• Illegal use

• Safety concerns

Hazard submissions may remain for integrity.

12. Governing Law

England & Wales jurisdiction.
